Who Will Bag The Second Seat in Naidu’s Team?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has declared taking a Minority to his Cabinet very soon. In all probability, MLC Sharif from West Godavari may be the lucky one as other Muslim MLAs from YSR Congress may not be admitted by the Governor.

The Second Cabinet Berth vacated by BJP may go to Scheduled Tribe Category which has no representation. Polavaram MLA Modiyam Srinivasa Rao may be accommodated in this seat as two MLAs who joined TDP from YSR Congress do not stand chance.

Four MLAs who are elected on YSR Congress Ticket were taken into the Cabinet previously. But the Governor is unlikely to support such move given that the Telugu Desam Party has now walked out of the NDA Government at the center.
