Former governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Sounerrajan is regarded as a firebrand politician. After stepping down as Telangana’s governor, she rejoined BJP and even contested in the recent parliamentary elections in Tamil Nadu.
However, Tamilisai lost the election from the Chennai South MP segment and so did Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai. This quickly led to a spat between the two camps after Tamilisai hinted many anti-social elements entered the BJP after Annamalai took charge and that is why the party lost so badly.. This seems to have anguished the central BJP.
Today, at the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati, Tamilisai was one of the special attendees. Incidentally, she appeared to have gotten an earful from Amit Shah right on stage.
In a set of viral videos, Shah is seen warning Tamilisai and gesturing her so as to not repeat her actions again.
Netizens have started to speculate that Amit Shah warned Tamilisai about crossing the party line and speaking against the party president Annamalai himself. What’s for certain is that Shah is clearly not impressed with Tamiliasai and he made his anger felt.
