Political Parties are eager to have the Film Industry on their side. The Parties are deriving a kick from the PR film celebrities give them. It happened the most during KTR’s regime.
YS Jagan in 2019-24 and Revanth Reddy recently were upset when the industry did not meet their expectations and gave a treatment.
When Revanth Reddy jailed Allu Arjun, we saw Jagan and KTR supporting him in a bid to attract the actor and the industry towards them.
Even though the industry is hobnobbing with Revanth Reddy for now, they are upset with him with the recent turn of events.
There is a good chance that the industry may become Pro-BRS before the 2028 elections in Telangana.
But then, surprisingly, Harish Rao seems to be destroying it.
Today, the former Minister took to X and flagged Revanth Reddy for going back on his statement that there will be no Ticket Prices Hike and Benefit Shows for the remainder of his term.
Harish Rao alleged that Revanth Reddy and his Ministers misled the house and so he will be moving a Privilege Motion against that.
The Opposition should always have a plan to corner the Government.
Some issues they should let go of like this one. If the BRS is also positioning itself against the film industry, why should the celebrities leave Congress and move towards the BRS in the coming elections?
Harish Rao got it completely wrong this time. This is as if he is helping Revanth Reddy.
