Hundred Anna Canteens across seventeen districts have become operational and are expected to serve an average of 1.05 lakh plates of food everyday.

TDP MLAs and Ministers have served food themselves in all these 100 canteens on Day One.

But then Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is not present.

Incidentally, he attended the Independence Day Program at Kakinada Parade Grounds on August 15th. Pithapuram Anna Canteen was inaugurated the next day but Pawan Kalyan did not attend.

Janasena MLC Pidugu Hariprasad and TDP Pithapuram Incharge Varma inaugurated the Anna Canteen and served food to the people.

Anna Canteens will be easily the most Popular & Public Supported Scheme of this Government.

Pawan Kalyan’s participation would have been very nice. In fact, as the government is planning to encourage public participation in this scheme via donations, he can inspire people to participate and donate.
