Why Question Chintakayala Vijay’s Kids?: HC

The AP CID is under the pump for the way they’re handling the Chintakayala Vijay’s case. The High Court magistrate warned the CID about the same today.

Today, CID’s case on Vijay pertaining to his objectionable social media post on YS Bharathi came to discussion and the High Court faulted the method of investigation.

“What’s the reason for the CID officials to go to Vijay’s house in Hyderabad and question his kids? Why is it that the CID is targeting his family in Hyderabad every now and again?” The court stated.

The court added that the government and the investigating agency should refrain from taking any impulsive action against Vijay and his family.

“The 41(A) notices served by the investigating agency and the points mentioned in it are confusing. Your argument in court contradict the points you mentioned in the notices. Refrain from taking cohesive steps in this case.” The court added.
