Fiml-maker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) missed the CID inquiry in Guntur. In what has become a pattern of sorts, RGV said he couldn’t attend the inquiry as he was busy with his film’s promotion.
He requested 8 weeks to attend the inquiry. Instead, he sent his lawyer to the CID office. If he doesn’t show up today, the CID plans to issue fresh notices to RGV on Tuesday.
In the past, the TDP leaders had lodged a complaint with CID regarding the ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Redlu’ movie. They complained the film hurt their sentiments.
On the work front, RGV is producing a film titled Saaree and directing a film titled Syndicate. He also re-released his 1998 hit film Satya in January 2025.
