Why Sharmila Became Silent All Of Sudden?

On March 15th, on the occasion of the fifth Death Anniversary of YS Vivekananda Reddy, YS Sunitha arranged a prayer meeting in Kadapa in the memory of her father. YS Sharmila also attended the meeting.

Both Sunitha and Sharmila made a scathing attack on Jagan Mohan Reddy for shielding the murderers of Vivekananda Reddy. They urged people not to vote for YSR Congress.

The much-famed Vizag meeting of Revanth Reddy also did not yield results.

Its been ten days since that, the activity in Sharmila’s camp almost reduced to zero.

There were reports that Congress high command wants Sharmila to contest from Kadapa Parliament.

Since then, there is no update on anything. The activity in the Congress party is also reduced to zero and there is no aggression even though the elections are round the corner.

The news about Sunitha or her mother contesting also died. There is a discussion in the political circles about why Sharmila became silent all of sudden.

There are doubts if she cut a deal with Jagan or if it is Congress party that had a word with Jagan.

YSR Congress and Congress share the same vote-bank i.e., SCs and Reddys. If Congress was able to cut at least 3-5% Vote Bank of YSR Congress, the results will be shocking for Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Contesting elections is a different ball game for a severely battered party like Congress in Andhra Pradesh. So, we can also give a benefit of doubt for this inactivity.

We will have an idea about the real direction of Sharmila and Congress when the first list of candidates is out.

If the list looks non-serious, definitely something is fishy!
