Why TDP and YSR Congress are Hoping of Victory?

The Polling in Andhra Pradesh has concluded and thanks to the inefficiency of the Election Commission, Polling went on till 3 AM in a few booths. Anyways, the exercise is done and dusted. The fate of the Political Parties is sealed in EVMs and it will be revealed only on May 23rd. Anything we say or analyze now is just speculation.

TDP and YSR Congress are nervous but are hoping that they will cross the final line. Since there is a record Polling Percentage Registered, YSR Congress is expecting that there is a severe anti-incumbency against Chandrababu Naidu Government. This theory is debunked in the recent Telangana Elections.

They also predicted that Janasena will eat into the votes of TDP since it supported the Cycle Party in 2014. There is just a 2% difference between TDP and YSR Congress in 2014 elections. So, Pawan Kalyan will help fill that gap by damaging TDP Prospects.

As far as TDP is considered, Chandrababu is expecting that there is one-sided voting in favor of the party from the Old People due to Pensions and Ladies due to Pasupu Kunkuma Scheme. The huge voter turnout is the positive vote they believe. We will have to wait till May 23rd to see who will have the last laugh!
