In a surprising move, Chandrababu did not try to talk Vamsi and also released an Open Letter saying that quitting politics is no solution and party will stand by him in his fight for his rights and the constituency. Vamsi wrote another letter this time making indirect allegations on Devineni Uma.
Chandrababu assured all support from the party and finally asked Party Senior Leaders – Kesineni Nani and Konakalla Narayana to talk to them. It has to be seen if this will dissuade Vamsi from resigning as an MLA. Vamsi’s resignation will mean there will be a by-election in Gannavaram.
It is very difficult for TDP to withstand the money and manpower of the Ruling Party in the by-election.
