Will KCR yield to Modi this time?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who once abused Prime Minister Narendra Modi like anything, realized the importance to mingle well with the Center in recent times. KCR and TRS MPs repeated are saying these days they are not having any rivalry with the center and looking forward to work with them. A popular Newspaper recently even went on to report that KCR is ready to join NDA government as well as take BJP in to state cabinet.

While all these are on one side, the major test to KCR will be on 25th of this month. NDA government has announced the day as ‘Good Governance day’ on the occasion of former Prime Minister AB Vajpayee’s Birthday and the central government will be celebrating it on a large scale. It has to be seen if Telangana government takes up this ‘Good Governance day’.

Earlier Telangana government did not even take up the Swachch Bharath program started by the Prime Minister. Only the central government offices in Telangana is taking the Swachch Bharath Program forward here. We can definitely consider it as a ‘change’ if KCR celebrate the good governance day.
