Who Will Make Crater Hyderabad into Greater Hyderabad?

The awfully bad roads in Greater Hyderabad limits has got the name of ‘Crater Hyderabad’. The Badly maintained roads are even claiming lives as the driving on such roads is becoming increasingly difficult and risky. However, GHMC is at a snail pace in repairing the roads and now a new controversy is even delaying the things.

Metro Rail Works are going on several places eating away the road space and the roads there are even worse than at the other areas. The Engineers at Hyderabad Metro Rail are stating that it was the duty of the GHMC to fill the potholes, officers from the civic body stated that it was not in their jurisdiction.

National Highways Authority of India also reiterates the claim of GHMC Officials. They say the roads have been handed over to HMR when the Metro Rail work started. It was now their duty to repair the road. In this blame game, the roads continue to be pathetic and the users are continuing to suffer and toil.
