Will Modi and Shah Give Shock Treatment to Telangana BJP?

Telangana Election Results are out and the Opposition is reduced to nobody in this election. The Position of BJP is even worse. The party has lost Deposits in 103 out of the total 118 Constituencies the party has contested. Except for one, all of its sitting MLAs lost the elections.

The Losing Candidates include the Party President and Party’s Floor Leader. This is despite a full thrust Campaign by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Several Union Ministers, and BJP Chief Ministers. The party has just managed to win One MLA Seat and around 7% Vote Share.

The party has started retrospection into the defeat as it is crucial for the party prospects in the Upcoming Parliament Elections. BJP President Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are coming down to Hyderabad. Amit Shah will be in Hyderabad on 24th of this month and Modi will fly down in the First Week of January.

There are demands that the party should revamp the entire leadership team which has failed to inspire the Voters or the Cadre. The current leadership is confined only to the Party Office in Hyderabad and let the party suffer in the districts. It has to be seen if the party will go for the complete revamp since a large scale revamp can shock the party ahead of thr Parliament Elections.
