Will TDP really get that hot spot in Modi team?

If the reports emerging from regional media are to be believed, Venkaiah Naidu may be moved to another portfolio and the Urban Development Ministry may be given to TDP’s Ashok Gajapathi Raju. This will be a huge bonus for the state as Union Urban Development ministry will help Amaravati construction big time.

Reports are emerging that Sujana Chowdary may also have a change of ministry while TDP is likely to get another cabinet berth. MPs Nimmala Kishtappa and JC Diwakar Reddy are said to be front-runners. This extra cabinet berth is for allotting Rajya Sabha berth to Suresh Prabhu from TDP’s quota.

TDP (TS) leaders have also pinned hopes on this ministry as Chandrababu Naidu earlier promised to give them one if Modi government allots one more berth to TDP. However sources say it is unlikely as political situation in Telangana is very volatile and the conditions are such Naidu can not trust any one there.
