Will TDP (TS) Get the Much-Needed Respite?

Things are not going in favour of TDP (TS) since the 2014 elections defeat. After nearly emptying the party, TRS government went to the extent of merging TDLP into TRSLP. TDP (TS) Working President, Revanth Reddy went to the high court alleging that it is illegal to merge the party by keeping the disqualification petitions in pending.

There are some heated arguments between Telangana AG Rama Krishna Reddy and High Court Judge. The judge asked the AG not to try pushing his arguments in higher pitch but AG retaliated saying that judge can not try to get him subdued. Further AG told the court that he is representing Assembly Secretary in the case.

The Judge objected to that saying that Assembly Secretary has nothing to do with this case and it is the work of Speaker who defied the disqualification petitions and merged the parties. Given the judge’s hot comments on this case, TDP (TS) is expecting some respite from the court on this issue.
