Will Jagan Move Back to Lotus Pond?

A key development has taken place in the illegal assets case involving former AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Telangana High Court has issued orders that the cases against Jagan Mohan Reddy, currently in the CBI court, should be investigated on a daily basis.

Last year, former MP Harirama Jogaiah filed a petition in the High Court, stating that there are 20 cases pending in the CBI court against Jagan, which have been under investigation for several years. He requested the court to expedite the investigation. Responding to this, the High Court has now directed the CBI court to conduct a day-to-day investigation.

The High Court also reviewed other cases pending against public representatives. Following directions from the Supreme Court to resolve such cases quickly, the High Court has instructed respective courts to speed up the investigations against public representatives. The courts have been given three weeks to submit a report related to the progress of these inquiries.

Since his election defeat, Jagan has been moving between places like Pulivendula and Bengaluru. If the court starts to investigate his case daily, Jagan will need to stay in Hyderabad to attend court as required. This has led to rumors that YS Jagan might move back to Lotus Pond in Hyderabad.
