World Bank Appreciates Andhra Pradesh

World Bank has appreciated Andhra Pradesh for being extremely friendly to Startup Businesses. The Premiere Financial agency appreciated the state government’s single desk mechanism which imparts all the necessary permissions for industries in just Two Weeks. Startup Businesses need about 22 types of permissions from the state government before setting up the shop here.

The state government made sure that all these permissions are got at one placing bringing about 16 departments under one roof. Earlier, the government use to ensure all the permissions in 21 days and recently reduced it to 14 days. This is the fastest time for startup businesses to obtain all the permissions in the country.

And Andhra Pradesh is the only country to have such system in place. From April 2015, the state government has got 11618 applications from startup businesses and 10868 of them are approved till date. World Bank opined that the conducive enviroment created by the state government made life easy for startup businesses in the state.
