Yet another jolt to Vijay Mallya

Looks like the web that has been weaved around billionaire Vijay Mallya is getting thicker by the day. In what could be said as a huge setback, Vijay Mallya’s passport has now been suspended.

Reports suggest that the Indian government suspended his passport as he was not cooperating with the investors in clearing their loans. Vijay Mallya’s passport is even more special as it is of an diplomat. At least close to 10 banks have turned down Mallya’s appeal to pay off his loans in installments.

But being the man he is, Mallya left to London even before he know that something like this would happen. Now with his passport suspended, it will be interesting to see whether he will be forced to return to India and answer all those who have lent him huge money.
