Yet To Face An Election But To Lead YCP

After making a last minute change, it is now confirmed that Vijaysai Reddy and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy will lead YSR Congress for 2024 elections.

Chief Minister Jagan handed over the responsibility of coordinating regional coordinators and district presidents to Sai Reddy

Sajjala was given the responsibility of MLAs and media coordination. We do not know if Sai Reddy will be given a free hand but on paper, both the Reddys got crucial responsibilities.

Interestingly, both of them are yet to contest a single direct election. They have been only nominated. Vijaysai Reddy was nominated to Rajya Sabha while Sajjala did not go to legislature till now.

There is also a criticism how these leaders who did not face a single election can lead many Leaders who are stalwarts in electoral politics and new candidates who will be facing elections for the first time or second time.

Meanwhile, the Ruling Party is undertaking Intintiki YSRCP, an outreach program from May first week to reach out to the every household so as to bridge the gap created between the party and the public in the last three years.
