Young Politicians Attacked Actress with Eggs

Sometimes we don’t understand why the fundamental right for ‘freedom of speech’ is misquoted and used wrongly. When actress turned politician Ramya said Pakistan is not hell and people living there are like us, she didn’t expect sedition charges to be slapped on her.

In this scenario, when she arrived in Mangalore airport to participate in Krishnashtami celebrations, the youth wing of BJP demonstrated their discontent by displaying black flags, shouting slogans against her and hurling eggs at the actress. But Ramya was undeterred and carried on with her programme.

She was also alleged to have spoken against Mangalore city, calling it ‘Mangalore is hell’. But the actress turned politician didn’t agree making any such comment. She is ready to deal with the sedition charges legally in court. Meanwhile, she is targeted big way by BJP for opposing Central Minister Mr. Parrikar.
