Jagan and Pawan Kalyan Commit Blunders At The Same Time?

Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Speaking at a Public meeting at Jaggayapeta revealed his stance on Kapu Reservations issue. Jagan went on to say that he can not commit on anything which is not in his hands hinting that Reservations issue is in center’s purview.

He also added that there is a Supreme Court ruling that Reservations should not cross 50% and the state can do nothing in that. Interestingly, this may be a Self-Goal for Jagan since Kapu community is the dominant class in Andhra Pradesh.

Also, there comes a question if Kapu Quota is in Center’s Purview and Jagan cannot do anything. So is the case with Special Status as well. On the other side, Pawan Kalyan at a meeting on Land Acquisition Act threatened to stall the Capital Works.

He threatened to storm to the Chief Minister’s Residence with farmers who are reluctant to part their lands. This Anti-Amaravati stance may not go well with the people of Krishna – Guntur districts and also the majority of farmers who voluntarily parted their lands for the Capital.
