A very interesting thing happened in the ongoing Telangana assembly session today as a video of YS Jagan was played in the assembly hall.
The video was played by Telangana irrigation minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and the video is of Jagan speaking highly about KCR in AP assembly for allotting Telangana’s irrigation water supply to Telangana. The minister used this video to show the ‘friendly’ relationship between KCR and Jagan which ended up costing Telangana.
“Jagan came to KCR’s house to have biryani and then took away Telangana’s irrigation water to AP. YSR took up Pothireddypadu capacity to 44,000 cusecs and now, Jagan has taken it to 92,600 cusecs.” Uttam Kumar Reddy said in the assembly.
The main allegation from the irrigation minister is that KCR put AP’s interests about Telangana’s interests with regard to the regulatory water distribution between the two states. He linked Jagan’s visit to KCR’s house during the latter’s time as the CM of Telangana to prove his case.
In the end, Jagan’s biryani talk with KCR became a hot topic in the Telnagana assembly today.
