Jagan’s Failed Onion and Heritage Logic!

Opposition Leader who is in the middle of his 3000 Kilometers Padayatra in Kurnool criticized the government for not having support price for Onion farmers. He went on to say that the farmers are not even getting 4 Rupees for Kg Onions while Heritage is selling for 50 Rupees.

But then, Jagan seems to have ignored the facts, says the TDP fans on social media. “No Supermarket be it Heritage or any other sell Kurnool Onions. They sell Grade One Onions of Maharashtra which command 50 Rupees for Kg,” a fan said.

Experts also say the same. “Kurnool Onions are usually considered as the inferior quality in the market and hence the price problem. The government has tried to introduce Maharashtra quality here as well but the climate and soil did not help it,” an expert said.

“Chandrababu is a broker himself. For our misfortune, he is also into the business of fruits and vegetables and is ensuring no price for farmers,” Jagan criticized. Either Jagan may not know the facts or is indulging in pure political criticism.
