Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly gave the nod to the Assembly seat increase. Not increasing the Assembly seats is one of the conditions laid by Jagan for his support to BJP’s Candidate in the upcoming Presidential Elections.

Jagan is said to be shocked by this development and feels cheated by the Union Government. Buzz in the Political Circles is that Vijaya Sai Reddy will be meeting the government Top Brass very soon and make the last attempt to stall the bill. Assembly seats increase will benefit the ruling parties of both the Telugu States.
