Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to buoyed with the confidence given by Political Strategist, Prashant Kishor and then he announced a slew of promises which he would execute if voted to power in 2019 elections in the party plenary the other day.

Fees Reimbursement to all, 2000 Rupees Pensions for the Old and Widows, Zero Interest Loans for Women, Pocket Money to every Student ranging from 500 to 1000, Arogya Sree, Liquor Prohibition in Three Stages, Jalayagnam, 50000 to small farmers in four installments, Free Houses to the Poor.
Interestingly, Jagan was talking about the poor financial condition of the state before 2014 elections and always say that he did not promise Loan Waiver because it is not financially feasible. 50000 to Small farmers is a sort of Loan Waiver without actually naming it so.
And then, Liquor Prohibition is the most difficult part since it will lead to a glooomy financial situation in the state and will pave way for illegal trade from the neighboring states. This experiment has failed almost everywhere. While Jagan always said Chandrababu came to power with false and unviable promises, he is doing the same unless he agrees that Naidu is going to drastically improve the state revenues to fund these extravagant schemes.
