Jagan Gets The Timing Wrong?

Andhra Pradesh cabinet has met this morning to ratify the budget that should be presented in the house. During the meeting, the Chief Minister has hinted about the cabinet reshuffle very soon.

He also tells the ministers that those who will be ousted should concentrate on party work as the elections are approaching. Only a few days ago, the CM announced touring districts from May.

It looks like Jagan has gone into the election mode. The CM already announced replacing a majority of the cabinet with newcomers so as to give chances to the aspirants.

It has been delayed so much and making such big changes can be risky just before elections. And also at the time when the leaders should start working on the ground. We may see the ministers who lost berths and aspirants who could not be accommodated staying disinterested in party work.

There are obvious signs of anti-incumbency from all quarters. The ruling party is trying to ignore that by putting on a brave face. Cabinet expansion can be another risk at this time.
