Jagan Softens Stance on Amaravati?

There is an impression in the people that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy if he wins the 2019 election, will change the Capital from Amaravati and move to Donakonda where several YSR Congress leaders own huge parcels of land. Jagan repeatedly said he will give back the lands to farmers strengthening those claims.

This claim, however, has made Jagan opposite Amaravati and brought him a lot of bad image in the people of Krishna and Guntur districts. Jagan seems to have realized that and changed his stance a bit. Jagan Mohan Reddy is now not speaking about giving all the lands back to the farmers.

The Opposition Leader is now saying that he will return only those lands that are forcibly taken under the Land Acquisition. It has to be seen if that changes the perception of the people on Jagan Mohan Reddy with respect to Amaravati.
