Sharmila Drops A Tweet Hint About Her Future!

Ever since Congress conquered Karnataka, there were rumors that Sharmila is going to merge her YSR Telangana party into Congress. We have seen her meet Karnataka Congress Minister D. K. Shivakumar fueling the speculations.

There are rumors already that DK will be made Telangana Congress in-charge in days to come.

Amid these rumors, Sharmila wished Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Twitter on his Birthday wishing him success in his “tireless endeavors dedicated to the cause of the people of the nation.”

“Wishing Shri Rahul Gandhiji a very happy and wonderful birthday. May you continue to inspire the people with your perseverance and patience, and serve them through your sincere efforts. Wishing you great health, happiness, and success in abundance,” Sharmila wrote on Twitter.

The reports say Congress high command agreed to give Paleru seat to Sharmila and a couple of other seats to her close-aides in the Telangana Assembly polls.

Sharmila floated YSRTP in 2021 and also did a Padayatra for a distance of 3,850 km but then, the prospects of the party look bleak. At most, she can divide votes and become decisive in a couple of seats. That might have prompted the decision to merge the party.
