Sharmila’s Secret Survey in Telangana

A survey claiming to be YS Sharmila‘s internal survey about Telangana has surfaced in media circles. It claims to be done by the National Political Consultancy (NPC) from Chennai after touring all the constituencies of Telangana for three months.

They reportedly stated that at least Seventy-two constituencies have significant supporters of the Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and the party can given good competition if it fields strong candidates in these constituencies. We do not know if the survey is for real.

Political parties often intentionally leak surveys in favor of them to gain positive press and public perception. Meanwhile, Sharmila’s party name will be officially announced on July 8th as YSR Jayanthi Special. The initial plan is to have a massive public meeting in Hyderabad – Rangareddy districts as a display of strength but that is not possible given the ongoing pandemic situation.

So, Sharmila’s team is planning to have the party launch event at JRC Convention Center in Jubilee Hills. Only a thousand party leaders from all the 33 districts in the state will be attending the event.
