Sharmila To AP: Blue Media’s New Spin!

There are reports that YS Sharmila is joining the Congress Party and will be heading the Grand Old Party for the 2024 elections.

The buzz is that Jagan deployed YV Subba Reddy to convince Sharmila to drop the plan. Jagan is reportedly offering Kadapa MP ticket to Sharmila and is also amicable to settle the property disputes that have been pending for a long time.

Sharmila will cut the votes of the Reddy Community, YS Admirers, Old-Congress voters who turned to YSRCP, and Christian votes from YSR Congress. Even if she manages to dent 1-2% votes from YSRCP, the election will be more or less over for Jagan.

There are rumors that Sharmila is not in favor of a settlement after Jagan ignored her for so long.

Meanwhile, Blue Media has started giving a new spin to this development.

They started a silly analysis saying that Sharmila’s entry into Congress would only dent the TDP.

They say she will eat into the anti-government vote and will damage the Opposition.

There is no analysis more silly than this. The vote bank of Sharmila and Jagan overlap but that is not the case with TDP’s.

This silly logic about Sharmila eating into anti-Government votes is just a face-saver to avoid embarrassment as and when the announcement is made.

On the other hand, there are rumors that Sharmila will join the Congress party on the 4th of this month.
