YSR Congress Gets the Basics Wrong!

YSR Congress is into the last but one year before its big test. 2019 election is going to be a make or break for the party which is struggling to make an impression in the Opposition. When it needs utmost discipline and planning for the party to perform, what is happening is totally opposite.

The Party do not have Booth Committees in most Urban Areas and many rural areas. While things are a bit better in the rural areas, they are worse or even more in Urban areas where the party is rejected in 2014. Booth Committees are very essential to maintain the connect with the voters and convert into votes.

Except for a handful of leaders, most of the leaders in YSR Congress are either complacent or hopeless about 2019 elections which have resulted in this situation. If that continues, YSR Congress is heading towards yet another disaster.

BJP recently decided to appoint Booth level committees in the next three years. TDP is the only party in which have them in place all the time and is always ready for the election. Previously Congress used to have such preparedness but then the party is almost dead now in AP.
