
Reports are that the Pensions are not disbursed in all the districts of the State. Normally, the Pensions disbursal should be completed by 3rd. But in many places, the disbursal is just around 40-60%. The old and unprivileged are doing rounds around the Pension Centers to get their money.
This news is all over the district editions of the Newspapers but is not prominently carried by the electronic media for reasons best known to them. Political Experts say that the cash crunch of Andhra Pradesh is very much known but the government is trying to cover it up since it does not want to showcase itself as weak leadership.
The financial burden of the state will further increase once the government starts implementing various promises it has made during the elections. On the other side, there are no indications of incomes increasing with Real Estate Slowdown.
