YSR Congress’ Narakasura Vadha a flop show!

Narakasura Vadha – A 3 day protests of burning of Chandra Babu Effigies in all the villages of the state ended up as a flop show. YSR Congress leaders who are still in the shock of election defeat did not come on roads and participate in the protests. Even the show did not go well in Jagan’s native district, Kadapa. Ironically, Jagan himself did not come out to join the protests as a result YSR Congress cadre and leaders lacked motivation.

The party is very much disturbed with the program failure. Many of the leaders themselves are saying this is an indication that party can not be sustained in opposition for long time. We got to speak to a YSR Congress leader in West Godavari, he said, “We lost Lakhs of Rupees in the election. Our leader did not help us even on repeated requests. We got to take care of our lives and families. We even shutdown the party offices in almost all the villages. Keeping aside Party’s future, our future is looking bleak now with full of debts.

It is known that Chandra Babu announced 1.5 Lakhs Loan Waiver per family which will make about 97% of the families debt free. Opposition is alleging that Chandra Babu diluted from the promise of 100% Loan Waiver for the 4% deviation.
