YSR Congress Plenary – Hope and Mistakes Go Hand in Hand

Today is YSR’s Jayanthi and YSR Congress is organizing its National Plenary in Guntur. This is the first time, YSR Congress has made a serious effort to make a big congregation for any party event since that defeat in 2014 elections and that has raised the hopes of the party cadre.

It is important to keep the spirits up and going with Assembly elections less than Two Years to go. The Party supporters are hoping that the newly appointed Strategist, Prashant Kishor will bring in radical changes in the party and that will help it come back to power in 2019.

National Plenary will mean that leaders and cadre of other states will come to the state where the plenary is going on. The Plenaries of Regional Parties have become National Plenaries since the state bifurcation. Since the Plenary is going on in AP, YSR Congress Leaders and supporters from Telangana are expected to drive to Guntur.

But then, all the AP leaders including Jagan Mohan Reddy have come from Telangana (Hyderabad) for the plenary for a change. The reason is that the Opposition Leader and his party headquarters still operate from Hyderabad. That is the big issue Jagan should address immediately.
