YCP Clean Sweep District Then, TDP On Rise Now!

YSR Congress had registered a clean sweep in the erstwhile Kurnool district in the 2019 elections. It won all fourteen seats in this district in that election.

The then Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya also lost from the Allagadda constituency of the district.

Cut to now, Telugu Desam Party has improved by leaps and bounds in the district like the other districts.

Kurnool is the district with the maximum number of confirmed candidates for TDP for the 2024 elections.

Out of the fourteen seats in the district, TDP already finalized eleven candidates.

Locking eleven out of the fourteen candidates with elections a year to go is a very positive sign for the party.

Chandrababu is yet to take a decision only on three seats in the district.

Allagadda, Nandhyala, and Nandikotkuru are the three seats. Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy and Akhila Priya are expecting Nandhyala and Allagadda seats. But Chandrababu is keen on keeping them aside.

Naidu is going to give ticket to some other member of the same family in the place of Akhila Priya as the former minister has got entangled in many controversies.

AV Subba Reddy may be given a chance by Nandhyala.
