The ruling party, YSRC has been losing many of its key leaders and sitting MLAs and MPs to the opposition parties in the context of the coming election and as it appears, this outgoing trend is not stopping anytime soon.
The latest news is that YCP sitting MLA from Mylavaram Vasantha Krishna Prasad has announced that he is quitting his party and joining TDP in the next two to three days.
TDP has a senior leader in Mylavaram in Devineni Uma and that put doubts on Vasantha’s position in TDP even if he joins the party. However, Vasantha has cleared these doubts as he announced that he has no personal differences or rivalry with Devineni and he is ready to work with the TDP veteran.
The outgoing MLA said only Chandrababu Naidu can develop Andhra Pradesh and he faulted Jagan for vendetta politics.
With two veterans in the barrel – Vasantha and Devineni, TDP’s chances in Mylavaram took a big plunge. The fact that several YCP MLAs and leaders are readily joining TDP and JSP has a story or two to tell about the current political situation in Andhra Pradesh.
