Advantage Hyd, New Rule For MNCs In Bengaluru

To address the rising demand for employing Kannadigas in Multi-National Companies (MNCs) in Bengaluru, the government of Karnataka decided to take action. The state cabinet minister Shivaraj Tangadagi said that the MNCs in Bengaluru are required to display the number of Kannadigas employed on notice boards at their campuses.

He said that if the companies fail to comply with the language requirement rule, it may result in the cancellation of their licences.

This regulation might prompt MNCs to explore alternative cities. Hyderabad, which is a significant IT hub after Bengaluru, stands to benefit from this policy. Given the absence of language constraints, MNCs may consider relocating to Hyderabad.
