Comedian Ali is ready to get into active politics. He may contest in the upcoming general elections of Andhra Pradesh. It is already known that he is a YSR Congress Party member and the Electronic Media Adviser to the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
In a recent interview, Ali stated that if the high command asks, he’ll run in the upcoming elections. He said that he may get a call from the CMO very soon. He said he would be bound to the high command’s decision and is ready to contest from any constituency. He affirmed that anyone can enter politics and contest from any constituency. “If he has potential, people will elect him for sure,” he went on to add.
Ali was expected to contest in the 2019 Elections but he didn’t. Since then, he has been an active member of YCP and maintained a close relationship with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
