Minister Amarnath recently criticized the Congress party for its poor performance in Andhra Pradesh, particularly targeting YS Sharmila, accusing her of having zero influence in AP politics. He expressed disappointment with the Congress, claiming it has dashed the aspirations of the people with an axe. Amarnath emphasized that merely changing presidents within the party won’t bring about any significant improvements.

In response to allegations surrounding Chandrababu, the minister dismissed claims of relief in the skill scam and labeled Chandrababu as a “thief on bail.” Amarnath suggested that Chandrababu should face the court directly and respond to the accusations. He highlighted a two-judge bench’s opinion that the investigation and remand procedures were conducted appropriately, seemingly favoring Chandrababu.

Minister Amarnath clarified that section 17(A) is merely a procedural aspect and pointed out that neither Chandrababu, the TDP, nor their lawyers deny any wrongdoing in the skill scam.
