Andhra “Kodi Punju” Went Missing In TSRTC Bus

In an unusual incident at the Karimnagar bus station on January 9, the TSRTC authorities discovered a trained rooster (Kodi Punju) intended for Sankranthi cockfights in a cage on a bus from Warangal to Vemulawada.

As no owners came forward during the stop, the TSRTC opted to auction the rooster today (January 12) at 3 PM to avoid potential legal complications.

However, a man from Kavali in Nellore district has now claimed ownership, asserting that he forgot the rooster behind when he got down from the bus. He supports his claim with videos, pictures, and a bus ticket and has requested TSRTC to call off the auction.
