Another Biggie To Clash With Devara

Jr NTR’s Devara, which was initially scheduled for release on April 5, has now been pushed to October 10. The first part of Devara will arrive during the Dasara festive season. Meanwhile, another biggie may join the race to take on Devara.

Naga Chaintanya’s Thandel is planning to clash with Devara at the box office. In a recent interview, director Chandoo Mondeti confirmed the plans to release Thandel during Dasara. Sources say that Thandel will hit the screens on October 11. If this happens, Dasara is going to be another big season for Telugu cinema after Sankranthi this year.

Both Devara and Thandel have coastal backdrops and are being made on heavy budgets. The competition will be high when both films hit the screens at the same time. It will be an interesting clash for sure.
