The Hyderabad Excise Police recently raided a liquor party at a villa in JB Ventures, located on the outskirts of the city, filing a case against a well-known actress and other film personalities.
Allegedly hosted by Himaja, of Bigg Boss fame, the party included several other film personalities. Due to the prohibition of hosting such events during the election code, the police have filed a case under various sections.
Himaja explained that she organized the party for her friends in celebration of Diwali. In adherence to election code rules, cops confiscated 15 liters of liquor and some sound systems.
