Case Filed On Nayanthara

Nayanthara’s 75th film Annapoorani ended up as one of the most controversial movies of her career. Ever since its OTT release, this movie drew severe criticism from Hindus for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. Eventually, it was also removed from Netflix.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Nayanthara and seven other individuals in Naya Nagar Police Station of Thane district. The complainant opined that the film hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus and also promotes ‘Love Jihad’.

Another complaint was also filed at Lok Manya Tilak Marg Police Station, citing the same reason. Meanwhile, Nayanthara is yet to respond to this outrage.
