
Ahead of the counting process, members of the Telangana Congress party lodged a complaint against the BRS government, accusing them of diverting Rythu Bandhu funds to contractors.
TPCC President Revanth Reddy, alongside senior leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy, Anjan Kumar Yadav, and others, recently met with Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj to formally submit their complaint. They alleged that the BRS government, in breach of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), is unlawfully disbursing a sum of ₹6000 crore from the Rythu Bandhu scheme to favored contractors.
