Congress Party Honours Prof. Kodandaram

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sounderarajan appointed two MLCs in the governor quota. Professor Kodandaram and Mir Amir Ali Khan are appointed as the MLCs by Tamilisai.

After assuming power in the state, the congress party proposed Kodandaram and Mir Amir Ali Khan’s names to Tamilisai concerning Governor-quota MLCs.

Professor Kodandaram played a crucial role in the Telangana agitation movement. He was the founder of the Telangana Jana Samithi party, which is an ally of the Congress party. On the other hand, Mir Amir Ali Khan is the son of Siasat newspaper’s resident editor Javed Ali Khan’s son.
