FIR Filed Against Australian Cricketer In Uttar Pradesh

The recent World Cup final resulted in heartbreak for Indian fans following our loss to Australia, marking Australia’s sixth World Cup victory. However, amidst this, a controversy has arisen involving a complaint against Mitchell Marsh, a member of the winning team.

A viral image showing Marsh resting his legs on the World Cup trophy circulated across social media platforms. Consequently, an FIR has been lodged against him in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

RTI activist Pandit Keshav filed the complaint, asserting that Marsh’s actions, by placing his legs on the World Cup trophy, have deeply offended Indian cricket team supporters. Keshav also forwarded a copy of the complaint to Prime Minister Modi, urging for measures to prevent Marsh from playing cricket in India.
