Geethanjali sequel targets South Languages

Anjali’s ‘Geethanjali’ was one of the big hits among small-budget films way back in 2014. Anjali’s performance and her glamour were the highlights of this horror comedy. Geethanjali is a blockbuster film in Anjali’s career and now the makers announced a sequel.

This sequel titled Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi is a milestone 50th film in her career, making it more special. The film will be produced by MVV Satyanarayana and GV under MVV Cinema & Kona Film Corporation banners.

The makers are producing ‘Geethanjali Malli Vachindi’ as a huge-budget movie in the horror comedy genre. The film will be released Pan India wide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages in early 2024.

The makers roped in popular actor Rahul Madhav from the Malayalam film industry. Apart from Anjali, the film stars Srinivas Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Brahmaji, Ravi Shankar, Rahul Madhav and others.

Makers are confident that this sequel will surpass all horror comedy genre films. The plot of this movie will take place in Hyderabad and Ooty. Recently makers started the shoot and it’s progressing at a quick pace. The makers have completed 80 percent of the shooting so far. The entire shoot will be completed with one more schedule in Ooty.

Shiva Turlapati is helming this sequel. Pravin Lakkaraju is scoring music while Suhatha Siddhartha will be handling the cinematography. Story is written by Kona Venkat. The sequel will be bringing lot of technicians and actors who worked for Geethanjali together. The film was a game changer for everyone careers and now they are giving the best for the sequel too.
