Guntur Kaaram Lands In A Controversy

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest flick Guntur Kaaram landed in a controversy. The Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU) and PYL have raised objections, urging the film’s makers to remove the song “Kurchi Madathabetti” and opposing the decision to name the villains Lenin and Karl Marx.

In an open letter, PDSU and PYL opposed the portrayal of revolutionary figures Lenin and Karl Marx as antagonists, emphasizing that it casts them in a negative light. Additionally, they called for the removal of the “Kurchi Madathapetti” song, citing objectionable lyrics.

The organizations also insisted on a public apology from director Trivikram and Mahesh Babu. Failing this, they issued a warning of protests at all screening locations of the movie.
