Hanuman has been an unstoppable force at the box office since its release, surpassing competitors like Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga to become a sensational hit during Sankranthi this festive season.
Before its release, the makers of Hanuman pledged to donate 5 rupees from each ticket sale to the Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Keeping up their promise, they are now donating the funds to the temple’s trust. According to official reports, a total of Rs. 2,66,41,055 has been donated from the sale of 53,28,211 tickets so far by the producers.
Directed by Prashanth Varma, Hanuman features Teja Sajja as the lead hero. Amritha Aiyer and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played pivotal roles in it.
