Hyd Man Prints Fake Currency Inspired By OTT Series

A tech expert in Hyderabad got inspired by the web series Farzi and printed fake currency at his home. The police caught his partner while testing fake money at a vegetable market.

Getting into details, Vanam Laxminarayana, a resident of Uppal, printed fake currency using a screen printer, green foil paper, a lamination machine, bond papers and cutters. He asked his partner Erukala Pranay Kumar to provide customers and promised him to give a share. The police caught Pranay with a value of Rs. 20,000 fake currency in 500 denominations.

The cops busted the racket and seized 810 fake 500 rupee notes. The accused are in the police custody right now.
