The Bharata Rashtra Samiti (BRS) party has unveiled plans to establish rapid rail transit corridors in Telangana, aiming to provide fast public transport connectivity to remote areas from Hyderabad within an hour.
Telangana IT Minister KTR, the executive president of the BRS party, emphasized that this initiative would contribute to expanding the IT sector to smaller towns. The proposal was discussed during the presentation of the 2047 Hyderabad Vision on Friday, outlining the integration of metro and rapid rail transit systems to enhance transportation infrastructure.
Through this initiative, a total of 7 routes are suggested for rapid transit from Hyderabad to all other districts of the state.
